Like many other autoflowering strains, this Northern Lights strain is the perfect solution for those wanting to do as little as possible. In fact, Northern Lights is one of the best autoflowering strains out there. It is suitable for cultivation just about anywhere, outdoor or indoor.

If you are looking to grow this indoors, you can expect to wait between 9 to 10 weeks before it is ready to harvest. You are then looking at a plant that will grow quite tall for its type, reaching between 80 and 100 cm in height indoors. This leaves ample room for its buds to flourish. If growing outdoors, however, you are looking a three month growth that can peak at between 100 and 130 cm in height. This plant does require a warm climate if grown outdoors, from which you could potentially harvest up to 200 grams per plant. If you have a decent indoor cultivation room, however, you are looking to yield roughly 90 grams.

In terms of Northern Lights’ effect and taste, it is very comparable to its standard seed variety, producing a pungent aroma and a sweet and citrusy aftertaste. This is complimented by a mellow and meditative high. As an autoflowering variety, you are looking at a THC value of about 15%. It is recommended in particular for its uplifting characteristics and its potential to de-stress. As such, as a typical Indica dominant strain, it relaxes the body and mind.
